BRIEF
To design a kitchen for the near future and explore different ways of dining.
FOCUS
After doing a lot of research I chose a compact living scenario where boundaries of different rooms are not as apparent. I then made some criterion that the kitchen would need to fulfill:
- An area suitable for the future merging of the kitchen and the living room.
- An area combined for cooking, eating and socializing.
- A compact kitchen with basic necessities for cooking and dining.
- A mobile construction that is adaptable to the environment.
RESULT
The result is Fusion, a kitchen table that combines the look of a classic style table with a high tech inside. You can keep the kitchen as a regular table when you’re not cooking, and open it up when you’re ready to cook.
