WHAT CAN YOU BRING TO THE TABLE?
“What can you bring to the table” was a group project exhibited in the Milan furniture fair. The concept was based on a game where several people take turns to draw parts of a character without knowing the end result.
In the same way, each part of the chairs was designed independently without influence from the other participants.
The five chairs represented the different characteristics: vain, awkward, voluptuous, androgynous and vicious. The characteristics were derived from one of the drawings made during the game.
AWKWARD LEG
My contribution was the left back leg for the awkward chair. The leg is strange and angular and looks different from all perspectives; it just doesn’t know what to do with itself.
